MARi Mart by UDA Holdings Berhad is a specialty one-stop centre that promotes and sells local food & beverages produced by Malaysian SME entrepreneurs sourced from all over the country. It is a specially dedicated platform for local entrepreneurs to promote their products and for consumers to buy Malaysian food products as well as to support small businesses.
The tagline ‘Dari Kita Untuk Semua’ says it all. It means that the products at MARi Mart are brought in from all over the country, displayed under one roof for the convenience of everyone, particularly local food lovers & travellers wanting to get the various tastes of local food. The products sold at MARi Mart range from sambal, spices, tempoyak, belacan, budu, local ‘jajan’, cooking pastes, ready-to-cook items, ready-to-eat food, frozen foods, retort packed foods, etc. These products are not just of the premium and export range, but many are produced by home-based food producers, from the urban and rural areas, single mothers, underprivileged community and local SME food producers that are new in the industry.
Supporting SME Entrepreneurs
MARi Mart is an initiative by UDA that supports SME entrepreneurs in the food & beverage industry. The two outlets are located at UDA’s Angsana Malls in Johor Bharu and Ipoh. The spaces are specially created as modern, pleasing ambience and gives a fresh user experience for customers from all ages. MARi Mart with its existence is hoped to increase public awareness and enhance patriotism among Malaysians for locally made food products as well as increase the demand for SME products through domestic consumption of local goods.
